Miro 2020 Bordeaux Blend - 750ml

Only made in the best vintages, the Miro Bordeaux blends are lavish, luscious and long on the palate. A stunning growing season in 2020 with minimal rainfall and sunshine throughout ripening, the 2020 vintage was a Miro year that above all produced wines of excellent concentration. Our fondness of traditional French styles of winemaking has delivered a sensual Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (51%), Merlot (39%), Cabernet Franc (8%) and Malbec (2%) that is bursting at the seams with dark red fruits. With an enchanting violet, herbal and cedary oak bouquet, the Miro 2020 is a seamless experience of firm, ripe tannins, defined structure and refined balance. Aged for 15 months in oak (33% new). Will reward patient cellaring.

This wine has a deep plum red colour with shining hue. On the enigmatic nose you have mixed plums, wild berries, mint chocolate, dried herbs and a deft tobacco ember. These carry forth and land with a medium weight delivery onto the palate, unveiling cherry chocolate flavours, plums and a restrained release of earthy nuances, all diligently wrapped in smooth, fine-grained tannins and stealth support from vanilla oak.
